After successfully owning a Floridian brokerage, IntraCoastal Realty, Chris Allen moved his real estate business to Oklahoma in 2001. Chris Allen became the #1 Realtor in Sales Volume for the OKC Metro and Edmond with Re/Max and #2 Re/Max Agent in Sales Volume for the entire State of Oklahoma. In 2010, Chris decided to expand his business by inviting a team of professional Realtors on board and formed an independant brokerage company, The Allen Group (TAG). Thanks to continued support from clients and friends, The Allen Group has been able to pursue Chris' vision of providing an unmatchable full service real estate experience.
Chris Allen - Owner/Broker
Chris Allen, founder and owner of The Allen Group, originally got his start in real estate over 20 years ago as investor/owner of the company in which his father practiced real estate, Florida Intra Coastal Realty. In 2002, Chris started his real estate career in Oklahoma and grew his real estate business to become the #1 Realtor in Sales Volume for Re/Max in the extended OKC Metro and #2 in Volume for Re/Max for the entire State of Oklahoma. In 2011, Chris started his own independent brokerage company, The Allen Group (TAG).
Chris had record sales his first year in business and hasn’t slowed down yet. TAG averages a home sold every five days. Additional licensed Realtors & administrative staff give clients the benefit and experience of top quality marketing for their properties and personal help day in and day out. Use of social media along with good old fashion networking within the industry gives TAG a leg up in the competitive real estate market. While existing home resales are TAG's mainstay, TAG continues to grow and diversify into new construction. Chris has partnered with several builders, including David Wanzer, Bryan Bloom, Clint Spencer and Jason Gudell , to build high quality homes for TAG’s clientele in the OKC Metro, Downtown OKC, Edmond and Nichols Hills areas.
Chris grew up in Oklahoma City and Edmond and attended both Edmond Schools and Casady High School where he graduated in 1987. Earning a spot at the United States Air Force Academy, he was active in golf, skiing, water polo, soccer, racquetball and fly-fishing and graduated from the USAF Academy on the Dean's Honor List in 1991 when President Bush, Sr. presented him with his commissioning as a Lieutenant in the USAF. He has piloted planes to every continent in the world, including the South Pole, flying the C-21 Learjet and C-141 Starlifter aircrafts. Towards the end of his tenure in the Air Force, he worked as a Presidential Support Pilot and one of five Nuclear Airlift Aircraft Commanders. Leaving the US Air Force in 2000, Chris accepted a pilot position flying the Boeing 737 with Delta Airlines. Chris's management positions in the Air Force, the up close and personal experience of being furloughed with Delta Airlines after 9-11 and learning to adapt to new environments with his work has given him some amazing insight into working with people and growing business smart.
He has been described as one of the toughest negotiators in the business! As a matter of fact, Chris completed the negotiation tactics course from the Harvard Negotiation Project. Chris was a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, Executive Club and Platinum Club, has numerous accreditations within the real estate industry and has a proven track record of selling homes in Oklahoma for top dollar!
Parenting three daughters with his wife Stacey, Chris enjoys living and working in the city in which he was raised. He attends Crossings Community Church, serves on the Oklahoma City K-Life board and is an avid outdoorsman.
Stacey Allen - Marketing
With 20+ years of experience in public relations and marketing, Stacey Allen oversees all marketing efforts for The Allen Group.
She plans and executes ongoing promotions, volunteers for fundraising events at Crossings Christian School where her daughters attend school and works on the board of OKC K-life.
Her career has taken her from New York ad agencies to handling public relations for Hyatt Hotels in the southwest to managing marketing for over 100 banking institutions in Missouri and Illinois to working for a small boutique agency in Washington State then returning back to Oklahoma in 2001. Stacey holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked for numerous boards and planning committees incorporating event planning for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, Heart Ball in Washington State, Red Tie Night, Redbud Classic, and Downtown in December to name a few. Other industry organizations she has been a member of include Public Relations Society of America and Bank Marketing Association. She currently divides her time handling the company's marketing needs and, along with her husband Chris, raising three daughters in Oklahoma City.
Susan K. Carroll - Property Manager
Susan K. Carroll oversees all property management for The Allen Group. She is known for her fast response rate to both owners and renters as well as being easy to work with and handling all aspects of property management in a professional manner. A native Oklahoman, Susan owned and operated a small business in Florida for nearly 20 years where she loved getting to help people fulfill their dreams. She eventually moved back to Oklahoma where she began working in real estate and property management. She has built a firm customer base with referrals and many repeat customers. She has experienced continued success in the industry and loves what she does.
Susan and Ron, her husband of 37 years reside in Oklahoma City and attend Crossings Community Church. A lover of music and playing the piano, Susan adores spending her spare time with her three children and four grandchildren.
